Soo.. What Happens When You Hit An Animal At 90mph?

Well, it depends exactly how you hit them, where, and with what. But the short of it is that a bag of fur and flesh isn’t really a match for several tons of steel. These pictures should be proof enough of that.

Hit so hard the deer was split in two!
Deer vs Ford – Built Ford Tough
Either this truck was attacked by a blind and lightning-fast doe, or the driver REALLY had to make it to Wal-Mart before they closed

Those crazy germans, every part serves a purpose!

It’s definitely a very hard choice to make. I have a friend who almost lost his legs due to swerving to AVOID a deer. Hard to figure out which is statistically safer.. hitting it or swerving to avoid. I’d go with the former only because it’s a bit more controlled, but luckily in AZ we don’t have that problem.

In deer-gmc2.jpg — is all of that terrible matter on the interior and on the windows from the deer coming into the cab?! Pretty intense; I’m glad you came out of it in one piece (wish more could be said for the deer).

Mythbusters just did a show on hitting a moose at high speed to avoid a deadly crash.
After watching that, I’d re-think that statement =P It floored me how massive the damage can be from an animal at those speeds!

About the “artist” who had the dog tied to the wall until it died: for the next art exposition, how about someone has the “artist” tied to the wall and let him starve while all animal lovers eat and drink to the new “human art” in Central America?
Shame on all those people who supported the “artist” by coming to that “show”. Don’t you aninal abusers from Central American have anything better to do in life? No creativity left?

This is absolutely disgusting!!!
Almost hit a dear at 100mph. Luckily there were no cars on the road so could move to avoid it! Glad we did now.

Anybody going more than 60 mph in deer country is asking for trouble.
